Nice out-of-the-way spot with good food. Friendly staff

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our server was more than happy to explain anything on the menu and offer to make anything that wasn't on the menu. Highly recommended!!

The food was super good! Really enjoyed the coffee! The price was perfect for what you got! We had 2 eggs, 3 pieces of bacon, hash browns, toast and coffeee for $9.95! The waitress was super nice and very good considering how busy it was. We can’t wait to go back!

Windmill is one of if not the best diner in town! Every single breakfast my partner and I order is just awesome. Nothing too fancy, just quality Canadian style brekky. Love it! Thank you and see you again soon!

Nice local family owned restaurant. They make very good breakfast. Portions are just right, not too big not too small. Prices are OK. The place is not very big and at peak times, there could easily be a wait time for a table.

Overall a half decent basic diner. Good is decent, a little stingy on the cheese for a grilled cheese sandwich

So just had our first visit and it was excellent. Fair prices, good portions, fast and friendly service. We had a hot beef sandwich and a philly cheese steak and they were excellent. I would reccomend there hashbrowns over there fries but there gravy was amazing. When we are back in the area we will be back!

Got a hair in my food and I was told that it happens... As I'm eating first of my 4 chicken fingers and I found the hair in the gravy. Couldn't eat anymore and they had to mention that they didn't charge me for the meal (that I didn't eat) but charged me $2.50 for the coffee. Not impressed on how they handled it. Been there before and had no issues but not sure I'm going again

Best breakfast EVER!

Just discovered this place quite randomly, read the reviews and gave it a try. I had the spinach feta omelet and was surprised at the generous amount of feta it contained. Home fries were ymy, not greasy. Friendly service in this casual diner. Recommend it. My daughter noticed the cook and commented on how much he must enjoy his job as he was listening to the music and cracked the eggs. Will go again

Great food, friendly service.

Tried this spot for breakfast yesterday just based on reviews. I never would have found it otherwise. I had the omelette and it was delicious and served with a generous portion of potatoes. The food was excellent and cooked just right. The service is fantastic with cheery staff. And the prices can't be beat. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Windmill for breakfast and plan to go back.

We went for breakfast and it was delicious My wife had the eggs beny and I had the steak and eggs. The steak was tender and juicy The waitress was very nice and new everyone’s name that was showing up Great spot

Really good eggs nice and fresh. Friendly staff cozy restaurant. Pancakes are good to if they had their own syrup would be better than the packets. A little bit expensive at the end but not bad will go again.

Such a cute local breakfast location - looks like lots of local people are around that are frequent customers. Friendly staff, food are of good value and good food. Would love to come here for some other food sometimes. Parking is pretty easy to find since it's literally spots around. Best wishes!

Possibly the fastest service to ever exist in the restaurant industry. Food came in 3 minutes , fresh! Out waitress was kind and helped us with the menu. Clean and bright!Will definitely come back if I am passing through.Hats off to the Windmill !!!

Great service, excellent breakfast diner food.I ordered the Eggs Benedict (only available Saturday) my guest ordered the cheese omelette.Both were equally delicious. The hollandaise was homemade. It is a worthy contender for best in the area. Although at time of serving I would critique it, as being slightly over-emulsified. Servers were friendly and quick to respond. Many regulars at this location, making a nice home diner feeling and atmosphere.Quick delivery of food.The rating is relative and appropriate to the type of restaurant is, and it is not trying to be something that it is not. Good job Windmill!

Amazing food and excellent service.

Absolutely amazing breakfast! Not many restaurants can serve me over medium eggs, these were perfect!. Homemade pancakes as well. The Windmill is doing things right, I will be back for sure. Reason for 4/5 stars is because Im not a huge fan of red rose tea.

What a hidden gem. Real food cooked by real people. There’s no pre cooked prepackaged food here. My favourite is Chris’ clubhouse sandwich made with real turkey cooked on site. From mechanics to lawyers everyone loves Chris’ food!Try it once and you’ll be hooked.

The lunch specials everyday are priced really reasonable. And the food is so delicious. They have kitchen pot holders and towels that are really nice and they make great house warming gifts. The staff is very friendly and u can’t beat the service.

No combo for eggs bacon and fresh toast ? Lol Restaurant smelt like cigarette smoke for the last half of my visit.

I do like my breakfast joints! Once again, we are between 4 and 5 stars. Really solid 4.5, not quite 5. Service was a real standout. We were seated, served and left within the hour. Not that we were in a rush, but wow, talk about efficient! I think if you were looking for a quick bite, this is the place. Food was very good too, with portions that were good. Not too much, and not leaving you wanting more. And that diner coffee that is always so good. I don't know how many cups I had, but it was a lot!Definitely recommend. Service, quality and price. Can't go wrong!

Food was good (cream of carrot soup was surprisingly tasty) but the value is the big winner here. You get good portions for your money. Service was friendly but the restaurant got busy fast and we had to prompt the waitress for a dessert (which was sold out while we were waiting to get her attention). Also, the dessert was sold out by 12:20 of the lunch period which was a bit of a let down. All said, we will definitely come back to explore their menu some more.
